Who we are

HNR Homes is a family-run construction company with roots in residential and commercial construction in the greater Orlando area for over 50 years. Our history extends multiple generations starting with a row of humble shotgun houses in what is now a historic part of Orlando, evolving through the years to include building some of the grandest estates in Orlando. Present day operations are managed by brothers Dan and Mike Zukoski, each of whom bring unique talents to the organization and have a combined 45 years experience in the construction industry.

Present day operations are managed by brothers Dan and Mike Zukoski, each of whom bring unique talents to the organization and have a combined 45 years experience in the construction industry.

Meet Dan

Dan is responsible for business development and quality control. He has completed Masters Coursework at the leading construction school in the country, The Rinker School of Construction at the University of Florida, with a focus on design and development. This is the reason HNR can offer in-house design and provide turn-key services, coordinating procurement of property, financing, design, budget, value engineering, and construction. Dan has a background in commercial construction as project manager and has been responsible for the construction of 10M+, 150,000+ sqft projects, so whether you want to go green or live in a house that resembles a skyscraper, HNR can handle the complexity of any project.

Meet Mike

Mike is the hands-on, on-site construction manager overseeing all aspects of on-site construction. Mike has training in varied disciplines as tradesman and completed numerous courses on construction techniques and quality control. He has acted in the role of superintendent on single projects valued as high as 4M and built homes as large as 15,000 sqft. Mike has a rapport with subcontractors allowing them to generate their best efforts and is the key to HNR providing the quality you see, but as important in our eyes, the quality you don’t see.
